What is it?

This sheet is aimed at protected persons (statutory refugees, beneficiaries of subsidiary or temporary protection, stateless persons).

Discover the Réfugiés.info application dedicated to protected people in France!

This free, official and translated into 8 languages reference application will grant you access to reliable and regularly updated information.

The available languages are French, Ukrainian, Persian/Dari, Arabic, English, Pashto, Russian, and Tigrinya.

The administrative procedures are popularized and easy to understand: learn how to register with the CAF, study in France, obtain your vital card, etc.

You will also find associations and activities nearby: French lessons, training to learn an occupation, etc.

How to do it?

To install the Réfugiés.info app on your phone, go to the Play Store (Android) or the App Store (iOS).

Phone running Android 5.0 or later versions:

  1. Go to “Applications
  2. Tap Google Play Store
  3. Type “Refugees.info” into the search box
  4. Click on “Install”.

Phone running iOS 13.0 or later versions:

  1. Go to the home screen
  2. Tap App Store
  3. Click on “Search” at the bottom right
  4. Type “Refugees.info” into the search box
  5. Click on “Get”.

You can get personalized results and find information tailored to your situation.

To do this, open the Réfugiés.info app, then enter your personal information:

  • Language (example: your mother tongue)
  • City (example: Paris)
You can also click on “ my location”.
The steps to enable geolocation vary depending on your device.

  • Age
  • French (your level of language proficiency).
You can change all this information later by going to the “Me” tab (bottom right).

The information is classified by categories (integration topics).

Depending on your needs, you can easily and quickly find sheets on:

  • administrative procedures: process for opening a bank account, having a residence permit, etc.
  • actions near you.

Start with a simple search:

  1. Tap “Explore
  2. Choose a category: Health , Do my paperwork
  3. Click on a subcategory
  4. Select a file.

Use keywords for targeted search:

  1. Tap “Search
  2. Type a keyword in the search bar: birth certificate , customs certificate , etc.
  3. Select a file.
The targeted search takes into account spelling mistakes and similar expressions (example: birth certificate = birth paper, birth document, etc.).

You can choose the language you'd like to read the files in.

  1. At the top right of the screen, press the language bar (flag icon) for a few seconds
  2. Select the language of your choice.
To switch languages to French, slide your finger left or right across the language bar.

The Réfugiés.info application also allows you to listen to sheets in French, Ukrainian, Arabic, Russian or English! You understand the information better and the sheets are more accessible.

Listening in Persian/Dari is only available on the iOS app.

Listen to the text read from a sheet:

  1. Find a sheet to listen to (see step 3)
  2. Click “ Listen ” (the round blue button at the bottom of the screen)
Don't hesitate to use the arrows ⬅️➡️ to read the sheets more easily by moving from one section to another!

You can add sheets as favorites directly within the sheet to find them more easily.

Set sheets aside:

  1. Select a sheet
  2. Press “ My Sheets ” (the star at the bottom left)

Read the sheets saved as favorites:

  1. From the “ Explore ”, “ Search ” or “ Me” tab , press “ My Sheets
  2. Select the sheet you want to consult.

You can choose to enable notifications. You will then be notified of new sheets published and updated content from Réfugiés.info directly on your phone.

Enable notifications on your phone:

  1. Go to “ Explore
  2. Tap the notification bell at the top right
  3. Click “ Turn on notifications
  4. Allow notifications on your device.

Choose the information to receive:

  1. Tap “ Me .”
  2. Under “ Settings ,” click “ Notifications .”
  3. Select the sheets and subjects (“ Themes ”) that interest you.
If a language is set, notifications will be translated into the chosen language.

All Réfugiés.info sheets are available in 8 languages.

When you read a sheet, you can share it for free at any time by SMS, email, WhatsApp or with other applications.

  1. Find the sheet to share (see step 3)
  2. Tap “ Share ” at the bottom right of the screen
  3. Choose a sharing application for your phone: Messenger, WhatsApp, Signal…
