DossierFacile is a free public platform that helps you create a digital rental application. Our agents verify your supporting documents and assist you if any changes are needed to ensure a clear, complete, and consistent application.

DossierFacile is only for people looking for accommodation in the private sector.

With DossierFacile, you can send your application to the agency or landlord of the property you wish to rent in just one click. Having your application ready allows you to be among the first to respond to a real estate listing, thus increasing your chances of securing the property you're looking for.

DossierFacile also allows you to stand out when applying for accommodation thanks to a high-quality, compliant application. Your state-certified application can reassure your future landlord.

DossierFacile finally allows you to create a secure rental application file that you can share without fear of identity theft (someone pretending to be you). Indeed, all documents uploaded to the platform are marked "Documents exclusively for real estate rental purposes" to prevent any fraudulent use .

How to do it?

To create your rental application, you need to start by creating a personal space.

Visit www.dossierfacile.logement.gouv.fr

  • Click on "Log in"
  • Click on "New to DossierFacile? Create an account"
  • Enter your email address, your password, and confirm it.
  • Please confirm that you are not a robot and remember to check the Terms and Conditions box
  • Then click on "Create my account"
You can access the DossierFacile platform via FranceConnect. FranceConnect is the solution offered by the French government to secure and simplify access to your online services.

  • You will find in your email inbox a message with the following subject: "Welcome to DossierFacile!"
  • Click on the "I'm completing my DossierFacile!" button.

DossierFacile only asks for the documents required by law:

  • Identity document
  • Proof of accommodation status
  • Proof of professional status
  • Proof of income
  • Tax notice

Once the files are completed, they are processed within 24 hours by our team of operators.

  • They verify the completeness, consistency, clarity and authenticity of your documents
  • They act as advisors, guiding you through the necessary changes to your rental application.

After validation by our operators, your secure file in the form of a link or in PDF format is ready to be sent to the owners.

What happens next?

The file can be shared with or without supporting documents.

Without the supporting documents, the owner cannot see the documents, but they know that the documents have been verified by DossierFacile .

Once trust is established between the landlord and the tenant, the tenant can share their file with the documents.

Before sharing your file, it is advisable to view it, with or without the documents.
