Why is it interesting?
A French level certification is official proof of linguistic level. It may be compulsory depending on your plans (registering at university, applying for French nationality, etc.)
The choice depends on your availability, your project and your budget.
- The DELF is an academic format, with longer exercises. You receive a diploma with no time limit on its validity.
- If you don't have the time or opportunity to prepare for the DELF exam, the TCF is shorter and the instructions for the exercises are easy to understand BUT it is valid for only 2 years.
It is advisable to prepare before taking the test or diploma, to have a better chance of success.
Depending on your situation, Syllabe can offer you a level assessment to help you choose the type of certification you need and prepare for it.
