Why is it interesting?

In this course, depending on the level, there are between 216 and 256 hours of French classes per semester.

You have classes and workshops during 20 to 22 hours per week, from 9am to 12pm in the morning and from 1:30pm to 4pm in the afternoon.

At the end of the training, you take exams to obtain a University Diploma.

If you are a beneficiary of international protection or a beneficiary of temporary protection and are under 35 years of age, you can receive financial assistance (grants based on social criteria or specific annual aid) every month.

During the training, you will discover the university in France: what it is like to be a student, how courses and exams are organized, which diplomas and training exist, how to take notes during classes and review them outside the lectures, make presentations, prepare for exams…

The French higher education system is complex.

During the training, professionals individually support each student to think about their academic and professional career, according to their possibilities.

The professionals also help you write your CVs and cover letters, and register for the training courses that interest you.

  • Individual and collective support: orientation assessment, CV writing, creation of a network, computer classes, etc.
  • Creation of an individual file with study wishes and objectives to achieve.
  • Interview with the teacher and manager before entering another training at Bretagne Sud University.

You have access to different activities:

  • cultural activities (guided tours of the city of Lorient and its surroundings, theatre, visits to monuments, visit to the Lorient harbor, visits to the Flore submarine...).
  • sports activities (football, basketball, and all sports offered by the university's sports department).

How to do it?

To attend the training, your registration must be validated by your social contact person or by an advisor (France Travail, Mission Locale or Cap emploi).
The professional accompanying you must fill out a form to confirm your registration.

After submitting your application, if your file is accepted, you will receive an email with an invitation for a level test and an interview.
