Why is it interesting?

In the DU Passerelle of Lorraine University, there are between 210 and 250 hours of French lessons, depending on the level. You will have approximately 20 hours of lessons per week.

At the end of the training, you will take exams to obtain a University Diploma. It is also possible to take a DELF/DALF (you have to pay for this exam).

If you are a beneficiary of international protection or temporary protection and you are under 35, you can have a financial aid (scholarship based on social criteria) every month and accommodation to do the training.

During the training, you will discover university in France : what it is like to be a student, how courses and exams are organized, what diplomas and training exist, how to take notes during classes and review them outside of lectures, make presentations, prepare for exams...

The French higher education system is complex.

During the training, professionals individually support each student to think about their academic and professional career, according to their possibilities.

The professionals also help you write your CVs and cover letters, and register for the training courses that interest you.

You will have the opportunity to meet French students and have discussions that will allow you to understand how to organize your studies and your university life at best.

The Orientation and Professional Integration Service (SOIP) of Lorraine University will present you the university functioning and will advise you on suitable studies to achieve your professional objectives as quickly as possible.

You will have access to various sports, cultural and voluntary activities during your training.

These activities, integrated into the diploma, will allow you to meet French people and interact with them.

Like all students at the Lorraine University, you will benefit from services to help you if you have any difficulties:

  • HELP office: help for students in difficulty (social, financial, psychological, medical, etc.), urgent needs (solidarity stores, psychological support, etc.), contact with suitable professionals, etc.
  • university medical service

How to do it?

After submitting the application, if your file is accepted, you will receive an email with an invitation for a test and an interview.
