Better understand French society

A 3-month training course with explanations on several everyday life topics:

  • History and geography of France and Europe
  • French culture: symbols, values of the Republic, secularism and democracy
  • Health and access to care
  • Employment and housing
  • Administration and the economy
  • Sexual health and mental health
  • Life in society and freedom of expression
  • Equality between women and men
  • Discrimination
  • Being a parent in France
  • Holidays and public holidays in France.
The training is organized as follows:
- Mondays from 2pm to 5pm, three times a year
- one Saturday morning per month from 10am to 1pm
- in June and July for young people under 25.

  • Find out if you are eligible for financial assistance and how to apply

  • Sharing experiences, asking questions about everyday life topics
  • Learning words and expressions to talk about equality between women and men, discrimination, freedom of expression...
