With BOP 104 - Integration and access to French nationality

A training program open to people preparing an application for French citizenship to:

  • learn French
  • prepare for the TEF IRN (French Assessment Test: Integration, Residence, Nationality) and the civic exam.
To take this training, you must:
- have started the process of obtaining French nationality (naturalization)
- be a refugee, or beneficiary of subsidiary protection, or stateless
- or have been in France for less than 5 years with a residence permit
- have a French level of A1
- live in Saône-et-Loire.
Before starting the training, there is an assessment of your French level.

At the end of the training, a final test will verify your level of French and your knowledge of French society, its republican values and its institutions.

If you pass this assessment, you will not have to pay the registration fees for the official exams.

You also have the option of asking the person who is assisting you with your procedures (social worker, France Travail advisor, Mission Locale contact person, etc.) to register you for the training.
