Support for newly arrived people regarding their health in Tours.

Nurses visit these people four half-days a week and provide three half-days of consultations at the medical center.

They explain the healthcare system in France, help people access care, and offer follow-up tailored to individual needs.

Why is it interesting?

This assessment allows for the rapid identification of health problems and the initiation of monitoring tailored to your situation, even if you have just arrived in France.

It's a moment of listening, free and confidential.

Depending on your needs, the nursing team will refer you to healthcare professionals: general practitioner, specialist doctor, psychologist, dentist...

You are not alone in this process. The team helps you find a healthcare professional, make an appointment, and continue your care if necessary.

The team explains how the healthcare system works in France.

This makes you more independent: you know where to go, who to contact, and how to take care of your health.

The team checks if you have had your vaccinations.

They direct you to health services to get the necessary and recommended vaccinations in France.

The team helps you find a primary care physician to ensure regular monitoring of your health.

A primary care physician is the doctor chosen to monitor a person's health on a daily basis.
He/she is familiar with the patient's medical history, gives advice, carries out examinations if necessary, and refers them to a specialist when needed.
