It is possible to become an ambassador in the fight against illiteracy by:
- Talking about your background and experience
- Meeting people who have difficulty with French language and accompanying them in asking for help
- Informing the public and professionals about illiteracy and possible solutions
- Joining an ambassadors' club to discuss, take action and support each other
- Participating in actions to better raise awareness about illiteracy.
To be an ambassador , you must:
- be French
- or be a foreign national and meet one of the following conditions:
- have French as your mother tongue;
- have been educated or have studied in French, in France or abroad;
- be a beneficiary of international protection and have learned French;
- and have a very good level of French (B2 minimum) orally.
