Prepare for your accreditation of prior learning (VAE)

Prépa VAE is a personalized support service to help exiles living in France, with legal status, to validate their VAE pathway.

During this support process, an advisor will:

  • study your background and experience
  • analyze your needs and your project
  • identify suitable training programs
  • assess your personal qualities and professional skills
  • check if the VAE is suitable for your situation.

The goal is to confirm whether you can be provided full VAE support.

VAE (Validation of Acquired Experience) allows you to have your skills and experience recognized in order to obtain a diploma or professional certification.
Please note, the VAE preparation complements the Expérience Sans Frontières program.
You can :
- complete a VAE preparation course , then continue with Experience Without Borders
- or participate first in Expérience Sans Frontières before entering Prépa VAE .

This project is funded by the Prefect of the Hauts-de-France region and by Transitions Pro.

  • Opportunity of being referred to other structures to confirm the VAE pathway.

How to do it?

To participate in an information session, send an email to prepavae@ac-lille.fr

You can also ask the professional worker who is supporting you (France Travail advisor, social worker, Mission Locale referent…) to do a VAE preparation course.

After this meeting, if you wish to continue, an individual appointment with an advisor will allow you to take stock of your situation.

Information meetings are held in Arras and Lille.
