Improve your French skills with theatre

Come learn French and discover different professions through theatre, play and movement!

Throughout the year, a 4-hour workshop per week to:

  • improve your spoken and written French
  • discover technical professions in the performing arts
  • prepare a play
  • prepare and register for the DCL FP or the DELF
  • build your life project and succeed in your professional integration.
The workshop takes place from October to June, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2pm to 4pm. Please note that you will need to take a placement test (oral and written) before starting the course.
To participate, you must:
- be at least 16 years old
- have A2 level in speaking and A1.1 level in writing
- have international protection: refugee, subsidiary protection, stateless person
- or have been in France for less than 5 years with a residence permit and have signed the CIR (Republican Integration Contract) at the OFII
- or be looking for a job and living in Paris
- or be a beneficiary of RSA (active solidarity income) and reside in Seine-Saint-Denis.

  • Activities to improve speaking and writing skills.

  • Use of video media
  • Various jobs in the entertainment industry: receptionist, sound technician, security guard...

  • Using dance, play and theatre to learn to speak French
  • Group activities to feel good and gain confidence
  • Create and perform a play.

  • Registration for a French diploma: DCL or DELF
  • Preparation to understand what will be required
  • Help with exam registration.

How to do it?

You can also ask a professional (social worker, France Travail advisor, local mission or local integration agency representative, etc.) to register you for this workshop.
