Improve your French skills and better understand life in France

With French programme and cycling in Évreux

A program of at least 2 half-days per week with:

  • French lessons (vocabulary for work, everyday life, citizenship)
  • bicycle workshops ( repair, maintenance, cycling in the city)
  • individual support provided by a professional worker (employment, training, procedures).

Classes and workshops are held on Tuesdays from 9am to 12pm and Fridays from 2pm to 5pm.

The program is open all year-round, subject to availability.

To participate in this program, you must:
- have been in France for less than 5 years
- have refugee status, or beneficiary of subsidiary or temporary protection, or stateless person
- have signed the CIR (Republican Integration Contract) with the OFII.

It is not mandatory to have a professional project related to mechanics or bicycle sales.

Why is it interesting?

  • Vocabulary related to work, transport, health, etc.
  • Understand and complete administrative procedures (letters, forms, websites, etc.)
  • Communicate better orally and in writing.

  • Learn to drive safely
  • Know how to repair and use a bicycle
  • Be able to take transport (bus, train, etc.) to go to appointments...

Workshops on:

  • legal rights
  • civic life
  • gender equality
  • parenting
  • culture in France.

A professional helps you to:

  • find a job
  • find a training
  • look for an accommodation...

Ask a professional worker from France Terre d'Asile, Secours Catholique, CCAS, France Travail, local mission, or your social worker to register you
