Take French lessons and look for a job

With LEIS Programme (Language, Employment and Social Integration)

A training course including:

  • French lessons
  • support for administrative procedures and social rights
  • support to help find work more easily in these sectors:
    - catering and service
    - maintenance and hygiene
    - personal services
    - handling.
To participate in this training, you must:
- have A1 level in French
- have international protection: refugee, beneficiary of subsidiary protection, or stateless person
- or have temporary protection
- or have been in France for less than 5 years with a residence permit
- have a career plan in one of the proposed sectors
- live in the Bouches-du-Rhône department (13).

Why is it interesting?

  • General French course for everyday life (8 hours)
  • Online professional French course to independently learn the vocabulary of the following professions and sectors (2 hours):
    - jobs in the restaurant and service industry
    - maintenance and hygiene agent
    - personal services professions
    - handling.
  • Prepare for and take the Diploma of French Language Studies (DELF).
Classes are held on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, from 1:45 pm to 3:45 pm.

  • Tips for writing a CV and cover letter
  • Interview preparation
  • Connecting with local businesses
  • Understanding a job offer.
The workshops last two hours.

Interventions by Action Logement, France Travail (formerly Pôle emploi), the Primary Health Insurance Fund (CPAM) and the Family Allowance Fund (CAF) to help you better understand and access your social rights (completing files, applying for financial assistance, declaring your situation...).
