Learn to read and write in French

With The ‘Introduction to Writing through French’ workshops

A 4-month training program to:

  • learn to speak, read and write French for everyday life
  • better prepare your professional integration
  • gain confidence and feel good in a group.

There are 3 assessments to determine your level and measure your progress: one at the beginning, one in the middle and one at the end of the training.

The workshops take place during the day, on weekdays, with group activities, in small groups or individually.
One session in the autumn and one session in the spring.
To participate, you must:
- be over 18 years old
- not knowing how to read or write in their native language
- be a refugee, or beneficiary of subsidiary or temporary protection, or stateless
- or have been in France for less than 5 years with a residence permit authorizing them to work
- live in a priority area of the city of Nantes (Le Breil, Dervallières, Bellevue).

  • Better communicate orally and in writing.

  • Explanations for searching for training or a job (the steps, vocabulary and important documents).

  • Use of multiple media: texts, audio recordings, videos, everyday documents, writing exercises and role-playing.
