Participate to a workshop on gender equality

The Ligue de l'enseignement invites you to attend a CLEF workshop: Cultivating Equality between Women and Men in France.

These are awareness-raising workshops on equality between women and men.

They take place in 5 departments:

  • Corrèze,
  • Dordogne,
  • Isère,
  • Nièvre,
  • Haute-Savoie.
These workshops are intended for newly arrived foreigners, including refugees: you must have signed the Republican Integration Contract (CIR) less than 5 years ago.

Why is it interesting?

You will learn:

  • Your rights (what is allowed and what is prohibited),
  • Important laws that protect you,
  • Structures (such as associations or public services) that can help you if your rights are not respected.

You will learn the important values regarding gender equality in France.

You will review concepts already covered during civics training. This will help you better retain information. This could be useful if you ever need to renew your residence permit.
