The CCAS (municipal social action center) of the city of Angers can provide financial assistance of up to €150 to:

  • turn on the meters (water, electricity, gas) in your new home
  • buy dishes and linens
  • pay for your home insurance.
The CCAS is open to everyone and without appointment.
To receive assistance, you must: - have resided in the city of Angers for at least 3 months - have applied for FSL (housing solidarity fund).
Please note that your family quotient (an indicator measuring your monthly resources calculated by the CCAS) must be less than €500 at the time of your application.

Why is it interesting?

You can receive help to pay the cost of opening meters (water, electricity, gas).

With this assistance, you have the possibility to purchase dishes and household linen.

Financial assistance helps you pay for your first home insurance.

How to do it?

You must provide:

  • proof of residence (electricity bill, telephone bill, etc.) dated more than 3 months ago
  • your original, valid residence permit
  • your latest bank statement or proof of income and expenses (pay slips, social benefits, etc.) for the last 30 days
People who live with you must also provide these documents.
  • proof of family status (family record book, etc.)
  • the letter of ineligibility for the FSL and all letters refusing financial assistance to show the steps taken with the departmental council, the CAF or the MSA (agricultural social security)
  • the lease agreement (the contract signed with the landlord)
  • the new, valid home insurance receipt
  • quotes for tableware and household linen
  • invoices (paid or unpaid) for meter openings or home insurance contracts
