Financial assistance to purchase furniture and appliances for one's home.

The aid is limited to €400 per family over a period of 12 months.
The exact amount varies depending on the two quotes provided.
You can receive an additional €50 to help pay for delivery costs.
To be eligible for assistance, you must: - Have resided in the city of Angers for at least 3 months - Have applied for FSL (housing solidarity fund). Please note that your family quotient (an indicator measuring your monthly income, calculated by the CCAS) must be less than €500 at the time of your application.

Why is it interesting?

The aid allows you to buy various pieces of furniture: bed, mattress, wardrobe, bunk beds, table, chairs, sofa bed if there is no bedroom for the parents.

You can buy different equipment: fridge, washing machine, oven, hob, stove.

It is possible to buy a computer for your training or to look for a job.

How to do it?

You must provide:

  • At least two quotes issued within the last two months from a retailer who accepts assistance from the CCAS. The list is available at the CCAS reception desk.
  • Proof of residence (electricity bill, telephone bill, etc.) dated more than 3 months ago
  • Your original, valid residence permit
  • Your latest bank statement or proof of income and expenses (pay slips, social benefits, etc.) for the last 30 days
People who live with you must also provide these documents.
  • Proof of family status (family record book, etc.)
  • The response letter from the departmental council to the FSL request.
