Learn French to become a forklift driver

A 4-week training course to:

  • Learn technical vocabulary and communicate better in French.
  • Learn to drive motorized vehicles
  • Prepare for the forklift operator diploma (certificate of aptitude for driving machinery safely CACES).
To take this training, you must:
- be a refugee, or beneficiary of subsidiary protection or stateless person, or have been in France for less than 5 years
- have completed the courses at the OFII and signed the CIR
- or be a beneficiary of temporary protection
- have a minimum level of French: A1 in writing and A2 in speaking
- be registered with France Travail.

  • Know the words for quantity, weight, distance, volume, positions in space
  • Know the words of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Learn the vocabulary of cart names and cart equipment.

  • Theoretical and technical training to learn how to operate handling trucks and pallet jacks
  • Preparation for the exam questions for the certificate of aptitude for driving machinery safely (CACES).

  • construction machinery driver.
