Learning French to become a forklift driver
What is it?
A 6-week training course to :
- learn technical vocabulary and better communicate in French
- learn to drive motorized vehicles
- prepare the forklift driver diploma (certificate of aptitude for driving machinery safely CACES).
To do this training, you must:
- be a refugee, a beneficiary of subsidiary - or temporary - protection, stateless, or have been in France for less than 5 years
- have at least an A1 written level in French and an A2 oral level
- be registered with France Travail
- have completed the courses at OFII and signed the CIR.

Why is it interesting?
- Learn logistics vocabulary
- Understanding instructions and asking questions in professional situations
- Know the words for quantity, weight, distance, volume, positions in space
- Know the words of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Learn the vocabulary of cart names and cart equipment.
- Theoretical and technical training to learn how to drive handling trucks and pallet trucks
- Preparation for the examination questions for the certificate of aptitude for the safe operation of machinery (CACES).
