What is it?
A personalised support to help you travel independently in the Roya and Vésubie Valleys, based on:
- a presentation of the different means of locomotion: electrically power assisted cycles…
- help to find mobility aids: local or national solutions
- advice for moving around more easily : carpooling and solidarity transport
- explanations to help you understand and respect the highway code
To participate, you must: -be a beneficiary of international protection or have been in France for less than 5 years -have signed the CIR (Republican Integration Contract) at the OFII (French Office of immigration and integration) - be a beneficiary of the RSA (tax credits for the poorest people) or the PLIE (Local Plan for Integration and Employment) or be registered at France Travail or at the Mission Locale -or be an isolated elderly person
Why is it interesting?
- Personalised diagnosis, assessment of your needs and support in your choices
- Discover the mobility solutions of the region: rental of electrically assisted bicycles (EAB) with adapted pricing and the use of solidarity carpooling
Carpooling consists in sharing a car to make the same drive with several people.
- Know where the services and important places are to gain confidence
- Learn the vocabulary of the highway code and of driving
- Know the traffic and safety rules for all road users
- Know the different local or national solutions
- Find out if you are entitled to financial assistance to pay for transport: travel assistance, social pricing, driving licence assistance, vehicle purchase assistance, etc.
