The possibility of a medical and psychological consultation with:

  • A general health check-up with a general practitioner: physical examination, vaccination check-up, screening for diseases or disorders
  • A psychological assessment with a specialized nurse: listening, guidance and personalized support
  • Information on your rights and the French healthcare system
  • Treatment and guidance tailored to your needs.
Consultations are open to all refugees, regardless of gender or origin. Appointments are required for consultations.

Why is it interesting?

A psychiatric nurse is available by appointment to:

  • Carry out a psychological assessment
  • Talk about your problems in your own language with an interpreter on the phone
  • Listen to your problems and receive treatment if necessary
  • Provide information on health and the French healthcare system.
The first appointment lasts 45 minutes. Two or three further consultations may be necessary, and an appropriate follow-up in a CMP (medical-psychological center, a care facility open from 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. during the day) is possible.

  • Better understand your personal difficulties
  • Identify the consequences on your daily life.

  • Getting back to sleep, dealing with nightmares, etc.
  • Referral to a specialist center or to general practitioners.

How to do it?

To book an appointment, call the Centre Hospitalier Bretagne Atlantique's Maison de la Médecine Préventive on 02 97 62 90 78.

The secretariat is open Monday to Friday, 8.45am to 12pm and 1.30pm to 5pm.

Appointments with a psychiatric nurse can be booked on paper on the day of the consultation with the doctor, or by telephone or text.

Opening hours: Monday and Wednesday (morning or afternoon).

20 Boulevard Maurice Guillaudot 56 000 Vannes (near the emergency entrance).
In case of emergency, you can contact or visit a medical-psychological center near your home.
