What is it?

Free training in the medical-social sector to become a hotel agent or service agent.

The agent is in charge of the maintenance and cleaning of premises and catering of medical-social establishments, such as establishments for the elderly (Ehpad).

The objectives are to:

  • Be independent in French to take action at work
  • Have the skills necessary for professional integration
  • Understand how French society and a medical-social establishment work

At the end of the training, you can get a Professional Qualification of Medical-Social Service Agent and an official diploma in French (DCL FLE).

The training takes place from December 2nd, 2024 to July 10th, 2025.
In order to participate, you must:
- be looking for a training or a job and be registered with France Travail
- have an A2 level in spoken and written French
- be a beneficiary of international protection
or have been in France for less than 5 years and have signed the CIR (Republican Integration Contract) with the OFII

Why is it interesting?

You can take FSP : French for Specific Purposes (FOS in French) courses to:

  • Learn professional vocabulary
  • Be able to communicate in a work situation
  • Understand how French society works: culture, family organization and habits...
  • Understand how a medical-social establishment works: roles and missions of a service agent
  • Know the hygienic rules, safety, the professional environment…
  • Know how to communicate with the team and residents of the structure: gestures and postures to adopt.
  • Discovery of a medical-social structure and role-playing
  • Exchange of good practices and support for trainers
  • Work-study internship in partner establishments and enhanced support.
