What is it?
A care pathway adapted to exiled women victims of gender-based violence with:
- individual support and monitoring: medical consultations, psychological support, social support
- collective activities to get better.
- be of legal age
- have arrived in France less than 3 years ago
- have experienced gender-based violence: sexual violence (rape, genital mutilation, etc.)
- not have medical or psychological monitoring, or regular monitoring for HIV (AIDS) and HBV (hepatitis B) infections
- need comprehensive support.
Why is it interesting?
- Physical, gynecological and psychological examination
- Screening for sexually transmitted diseases, checking vaccinations
- Evaluation and referral for clitoral reconstruction surgery…
- Find out about your rights and get help with your procedures: state medical aid, universal health coverage, etc.
- Group workshops to feel better: art, sport, music, reading, beauty treatments, etc.
- Forget bad memories and regain self-confidence.
The team is made up of a health mediator, doctors, psychologists, nurses and a sexologist.
Each specialist uses different techniques to help you according to your needs.
Throughout the care pathway, the patient is monitored and directed towards the services or structures suited to their situation.
