Where is it?
Learn how to get around your city
What is it?
A training course of around 3 months to learn how to get around on foot and by public transport in your town and in the department.
During 4 half-days per week, you will learn to:
- locate important places in your city and department
- know the vocabulary of public transport and the city
- take public transport, use a map
- organize a trip.
Why is it interesting?
- Know where the main streets, services, important places are
- Read a plan and a map
- Know the bus and train lines...
- Know how to ask for directions.
- Use transport app (Ycéo, Naolib, Naolib vélo, SNCF, Blablacar, Marguerite)
- Know the transport to go to another city and choose the most suitable one
- Plan an itinerary to arrive on time.
- Find out about the different season tickets and travel cards available
- Find out whether you are entitled to financial assistance to pay for transport.
How to do it?
The professional accompanying you (social worker, OFII or Mission Locale advisor, France Travail (formerly Pôle emploi) advisor, etc.) must complete this document and send it by e-mail to: code.rue@cfp-presquile.com.
You will then receive an invitation to attend an information meeting and interview.
