A 4-month training course for people looking for work in a hotel or restaurant.

The training is organized in Paris and offers:

  • French lessons
  • math lessons
  • IT courses
  • a presentation of the hotel and catering sector
  • advice on finding a job.
To participate, you must: - be a beneficiary of international protection or have been in France for less than 5 years and have signed the CIR (Republican Integration Contract) with the OFII - have had little schooling in their country of origin (between 2 and 7 years of schooling) - have a level of French A2 orally and A1.1 in writing - have an address (accommodation or domiciliation) in Paris.

Why is it interesting?

  • Communicate better in French (orally and in writing);
  • Hone your reading and writing skills to be more independent in daily and work life.
  • Visit an associative restaurant ;
  • Discover a professional kitchen ;
  • You can take an additional course to get to know the rules of hygiene and safety in the kitchen.
  • Know the different professions in the hospitality and catering industries;
  • Confirm your career plan (which job interests you, where you want to work, etc.)
  • Learn how to look for a job (finding and reading job offers, writing a CV, preparing for a job interview, etc.).

How to do it?

Ask Armelle PETITCLERC (coordinator) to know the dates of the next training courses and to enroll.
