Training to learn a trade and get a job
What is it?
Vocational training for refugees, beneficiaries of subsidiary protection and stateless persons, with:
- 3 months of French lessons
- A work-based training contract with a company.
The aim is to learn a trade so that you can directly enter the world of work directly. Examples of trades: butcher, kitchen assistant, bricklayer, formworker, multi-skilled worker, etc.
Why is it interesting?
3 months of courses to:
- progress in writing and speaking
- learn technical and professional vocabulary
- be able to communicate with colleagues, customers, managers.
One year of work-study training (courses and work at the same time) in a company to:
- learn the skills of the trade
- know how to advise customers
- know the technical gestures, the hygiene and safety rules
- understand the organization of a company.
At the end of the training, depending on the profession, you can get:
- a Professional Qualification Certificate (CQP)
Or
- a Professional Title .
Throughout the course, you will be given help with administrative formalities (sending documents, contacting public services, etc.).
There is also help with finding permanent accommodation through Action Logement.
