Training to learn a trade and get a job

With Projet Lotus - Humando Insertion

Paid vocational training for refugees, beneficiaries of subsidiary protection and stateless persons, and new arrivals with:

  • 3 months of French courses
  • a work-study contract in a company.

The goal is to learn a trade to enter directly into the world of work.
Examples of jobs: butcher, kitchen assistant, heavy goods vehicle mechanic, IT administrator, elevator technician, maintenance technician, general employee, etc.

If you are accepted, you will receive a salary of €1,426 net per month and there is the possibility of receiving bonuses.

Why is it interesting?

3 months of courses to:

  • progress in writing and speaking
  • learn technical and professional vocabulary
  • be able to communicate with colleagues, customers, managers.

One year of work-study training (courses and work at the same time) in a company to:

  • learn the skills of the trade
  • know how to advise customers
  • know the technical gestures, the hygiene and safety rules
  • understand the organization of a company.

At the end of the training, depending on the profession, you can get:

  • a Professional Qualification Certificate (CQP)

Or

  • a Professional Title .

Throughout the course, you will be given help with administrative formalities (sending documents, contacting public services, etc.).

There is also help with finding permanent accommodation through Action Logement.
