What is it?
A beginner-level French training program (151 hours) for refugees living in the "Communauté de Communes du Bugey Sud" (a federation of municipalities in the southern Bugey region)
Aims: improve your language skills and become autonomous in everyday life with:
- French lessons
- Explanations of administrative and professional documents
- Workshops on digital tools to help you carry out necessary tasks independently.
The training program runs from August 26 to October 24, 2024 in Belley (Ain).
Why is it interesting?
- Better understand and communicate orally and in writing
- Reinforce basic skills (reading, writing)
- Learn specialized professional vocabulary (payslips, schedules, etc.)
- Learn how to handle administrative formalities: make doctor's appointments, etc.
- Understand how French society works.
- Learn how to use a computer or smartphone: send an email, write a resume...
- Take administrative steps online: register with CAF, France Travail.
How to do it?
Reach out to the person assisting you with your job search (e.g., social worker, France Travail advisor, etc.) and ask to benefit from this program.
They will complete a registration form with you.
This course is aimed at beneficiaries of international protection or new arrivals living in the "Communauté de Communes du Bugey Sud".
