The TCF is free with Indigo Formation if:

- you had level A2 or B1 at the OFII test when you signed your Republican Integration Contract (CIR) and you signed your CIR less than 1 year ago.

- you are participating (or have participated) in A2 or B1 training with the OFII within a maximum of 6 months, and you have signed your CIR less than 2 years ago.

A 10-hour training course is offered to help you understand the exam and prepare you to pass it.

It is a paid service depending on your situation but it is not mandatory.

The TCF allows you to know your French level to find a job, start a training, apply for a 10-year residence permit (if you are a beneficiary of subsidiary protection) or prepare your filing for the application for French nationality.

If you do not have the necessary level to do what interests you, you can get advice on enrolling in French training and improving your level before retaking the exam.

1. Come to the Indigo Formation office at 144 Rue de la Gibauderie, 86000 Poitiers
2. Take the pre-registration form at reception and complete it
3. Give a copy of your residence permit or receipt
4. Give a copy of your Republican Integration Contract (CIR)
5. Come and take a placement test on one of the proposed dates.
