Living in a temporary shared accommodation
What is it?
It is access to temporary and independent housing shared between refugees and local people.
Shared accommodation allows you to forge links with people from France and other countries. Depending on your needs, you can also receive social support.
Why is it interesting?
By temporarily occupying vacant buildings, we wish to offer affordable housing.
Caracol shared flats are 100% mixed. You'll be living with people of different origins, genders and backgrounds. The idea is to create links between housemates!
We help roommates to collectively think about and arrange living spaces and places around events or workshops.
These events, co-organized with Caracol, are used to highlight the skills and projects of residents according to their wishes.
If you wish, we can also offer you social support in partnership with Habitat Humanisme on the themes of housing, employment and administrative assistance.
How to do it?
To join a Caracol shared accommodation, you must apply online with this application form: https://ef16iw7n4wq.typeform.com/to/DwPTFJ9F
Once your form has been sent, someone from the team will get back to you quickly with interview proposals.
Following this interview, we will contact you with a response to your application. If this is positive, you will then be able to meet your (future) roommates during meeting sessions and finally settle into your new accommodation!
