Train to become a sports facilitator

What is it?

Kabubu presents STEP, a training programme to prepare for the "BPJEPS APT" diploma with UCPA formation and become a sports facilitator!

This course is aimed at people who have just arrived in France and those who have been granted international protection.

The STEP program consists of two training courses:

  • The first, from December 11, 2023 to March 26, 2024, aims to train you in the professional skills necessary to integrate BPJEPS training. On the program: French courses to reach level B1 and discover the vocabulary of sport and animation, computer training, discovery of sports and animation professions with theoretical courses and an internship 5 days in a sports structure.
  • The second, from April 2024 to April 2025: after passing the TEP (Preliminary Requirement Tests), you integrate the BPJEPS training with the UCPA training to become a sports facilitator. This training is work-study: you are half in class, half employed by a sports structure.

Why is it interesting?

At the end of the course, you will be awarded the BPJEPS APT diploma ('Professional Diploma of Youth, Popular Education and Sport', specialising in 'Physical Activities for All'), which will enable you to work as a sports leader!

During the first 4 months, you have sports lessons linked to the career discovery lessons and you do a 5-day work placement in a sports facility.

During the BPJEPS year, you work on a sandwich course, i.e. you work one day a week for a sports organisation as an employee.

During the first 4 months, you have sports lessons linked to the job discovery courses and you do a 5-day internship in a sports structure.

During the BPJEPS year, you are on a work-study basis, that is to say you work one day a week for a sports structure as an employee.
