Train to work in the textile industry

What is it?

A 4-month training course to learn the profession of textile operator, with:

  • French courses
  • digital courses
  • advice on employability (CV, knowledge of the professional world, etc.) and personal development (confidence, motivation, etc.)
  • 3 weeks of internship in a company.
The training is open to beneficiaries of international protection and asylum seekers over 6 months old .
Dates of the next session: from November 6, 2023 to March 1, 2024 at the Tour du Pin.
Other training sessions will be organized in 2024.

At the end of the training, an employment contract in the textile industry sector is guaranteed.
Objective: work in a partner company, for example a factory with industrial fabric machines.

This pre-training does not lead to a state-recognised diploma, but a certificate at the end.
For the duration of the course, you will be paid as part of your vocational training.

Why is it interesting?

Partner companies in the textile production sector make a promise of employment for every trainee.

During the course, you will learn technical skills from industry professionals and in real-life situations.

For 4 months, you have the status of a vocational trainee and are paid by the Auvergne Rhône Alpes Region.

The training offers 175 hours of French as a foreign language course, including 30 hours of French on the vocabulary of jobs in the textile industry.
