What is it?

Civic service missions of general interest for newcomers in a variety of fields (solidarity, culture, environment, education, sport, etc.).

They are open to people from 16 to 25 years old, or even 30 years old in the case of a disability.

For actions up to 24 hours per week, the missions last from 6 to 8 months and are compensated.

Goals:

  • Learn French
  • Discover the professional work.
  • Gain a first professional experience and integrate into the French society.

Why is it interesting?

You will work with friendly French-speaking teams and will be able to meet many people (young people, businesses, etc.) in order to:

  • Discover new professions
  • Expand your network.

Throughout the process, a tutor help you with your work and guide you in your future project:

  • Get help finding accommodation
  • Find a job and/or training.
You can also carry out internships in other sectors of activity and be put in contact with other welcoming structures in the voluntary sector.

Free training courses are offered:

  • PSC1 (first aid training)
  • training course on the values of the French Republic with several themes to choose from: French culture, secularism, citizenship, etc.

Depending on your professional project, you can also follow other training courses such as the BAFA (certificate of aptitude for activity leader)

You will be paid 610 euros per month.

Working 24 hours a week during 8 months on a mission with a French-speaking team is the best way to improve your French level.

You can also take French lessons every week, adapted to your level ( minimum 2 hours per week).
