Take part in workshops to discover the profession of florist
What is it?
These are 3 days of workshops and activities (around 20 hours) around flowers, open to women and people in gender minorities who are far from employment.
The objective is to discover florist activities and define a professional project. Interested candidates can then follow florist assistant training to obtain a professional qualification certificate (CQP).
In the program:
- Activities around flowers: bouquet of fresh flowers, crowns of dried flowers, kokedama, educational visit...
- Know the profession of florist
- Gain self-confidence in your skills
- Learn to work in a group
- Work on your oral expression.
Why is it interesting?
- Discover the profession of florist, floral arrangement techniques, sales...
- Discover the world of horticulture (flower production).
After participating in the flower activities, we discuss with you to see if you would like to continue with the florist assistant training .
The training takes place in small groups.
You will work in a caring space, where you can:
- regain confidence in your talents
- meet new people and improve your oral communication
- let your creativity express itself with floral arrangements: bouquet of fresh flowers, crowns of dried flowers…
How to do it?
To participate, you must:
- Face difficulties in professional reintegration
- Be in relatively good physical condition: the florist's job is mainly done standing up and involves carrying sometimes heavy loads (vases and buckets of water).
