Training to prepare for the sports coach diploma
What is it?
Pre-qualifying training which prepares you to join BPJEPS training (professional certificate for youth, popular education and sport, level 4 state diploma) to then become a coach or sports educator in different sports.
The training offers:
- French lessons to reach B1 level with the vocabulary for sport and entertainment
- professional preparation for the profession (preparation for the BPJEPS, use of the computer, job search, labor law)
- an internship
- social and administrative support.
The program will take place from October 6, 2023 to February 16, 2024 full-time (35 hours per week).
Depending on your situation, you may be paid by Pôle Emploi for the duration of the training.
Why is it interesting?
Thanks to this preparatory programme and subsequent training leading to a BPJEPS (brevet professionnel de la jeunesse, de l'éducation populaire et du sport) option APT (Activités Physiques pour Tous) or CQP ALS (Animateur de Loisirs Sportifs), you can work as a coach, educator or sports leader. These are professions with lots of job opportunities.
The program includes more than 200 hours of professional French courses.
