What is it?
Training in French at beginner level (A1/beginner), with the Culture and Language in French program (CLEF) from the University of Toulouse.
Total volume: 108 hours of French as a foreign language (FLE), from September to December.
Pace: 9 hours per week, 3 days per week: Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
- Be an asylum seeker, beneficiary of subsidiary protection, refugee or have temporary protection
- Be at least 18 years old and have a minimum baccalaureate level (or equivalent)
- Live in Toulouse or near Toulouse
- Have a plan to continue or return to higher education
- Be motivated and available.
Why is it interesting?
Thanks to classes with a qualified teacher, you can:
- improve your level in French
- communicate in daily life
- study at university
- do professional training
- to find a job
- carry out administrative procedures.
If your application is successful, you participate in French courses free of charge.
Classes take place 3 times a week, to allow regular learning of the language for 4 months.
How to do it?

- Complete the file and send supporting documents by email: dilami@univ-toulouse.fr
- If the application is complete, you will receive an invitation to have an interview in June with one of the teachers of the training.
- After the interview, you will receive an email to find out if you are accepted.
