Accommodation and assistance with administrative procedures

With DIFRE (Integration scheme for refugee families)

Proposed by Dispositif d’intégration des familles de réfugiés - AIDAPHI Updated on 10 місяців тому

The possibility of temporary accommodation and social follow-up with:

• support in finding accommodation

• help with administrative procedures: OFPRA, CAF, etc.

• assistance with family matters: schooling, family reunification, etc.

• explanations of health and care services

• guidance in finding training or employment.

With the help of a social worker, the aim is to find your first home in France.

To have housing and be accompanied, you must:
- be over 18 years old: male or female
- be single or a family
- be a beneficiary of international protection with a valid residence permit - or have a certificate of extension of the instruction of the residence permit application or a receipt
- be currently in an accommodation center: CPH, CADA, HUDA, CHU, CHRS, etc.
- have your rights open: be registered with the Assurance Maladie
- have the financial resources to pay your rent.
Please note that the contribution to accommodation costs is 15% of income for single people and 10% for families.

Why is it interesting?

  • Help with moving, choosing a place, accommodation, etc.
  • Know your rights and duties as a tenant
  • Budget management, advice on applying for financial aid, etc.

  • Help with OFPRA, OFII, prefecture procedures: forms to fill in, documents to provide, etc.
  • Help with daily life: access to care, health, CAF, etc.

  • Schooling, benefits (financial aid), etc.
  • Support for family reunification.

How to do it?

To obtain accommodation and support, you need to contact the social worker (at the CADA or HUDA, at the town hall, etc.) who is assigned to you and ask to benefit from this service.

It is not possible to apply directly, as a professional will submit a file to the Délégation interministérielle à l'hébergement et à l'accès au logement (DIHAL) and follow up on your request.

If you have any questions or require further information, please contact the Aidaphi association:
