Train and work in the construction industry

Updated on il y a 9 mois

What is it?

A professional integration pathway to support beneficiaries of international protection with training in the building and public works sector.

  • Build a professional future in the construction trades
  • Discover new learning methods
  • Acquire the necessary skills for professional integration
  • Access the building trades (bricklayer / painter / plumber / tiler / welder) by signing an apprenticeship contract and public works (formworker / waterproofing technician / track layer, etc.).

We offer systems adapted to the person's project and their situation: professional title, POEC (operational preparation for collective employment), CAP (certificate of professional aptitude)...

To participate in this program , you must:

  • be a beneficiary of international protection
  • have an A2 level in French
  • have signed the Republican Integration Contract (CIR)
  • be a beneficiary of RSA OR be a job seeker and be registered with Pôle emploi
  • “preferably” be recommended and followed by a social referent.
You receive remuneration for professional training.

Why is it interesting?

A French test is carried out before you enter training.

You can take FLE (French as a foreign language) courses to:

  • learn professional vocabulary
  • be able to communicate in a work situation (compliance with instructions, health and safety rules, polite expressions, etc.).
You can participate in group workshops to meet new people, and develop your self-confidence: theater, singing, chorus writing, etc.
  • Learn the values of the Republic and French culture (secularism, citizenship)
  • Know the administrative and legislative environment.
  • Know how to create a CV and write a cover letter
  • Take professional photos and videos
  • Introductory and advanced digital skills: creating a mailbox, finding training courses, taking steps online, etc.
  • Develop your knowledge of the company: learning social codes, health and safety rules, etc.
  • Know how to adapt your behaviour at work: polite expressions, rights and rules of life to respect
  • Visit construction/public works companies and on-site simulations.

We give you advice on how to adapt your posture (attitude, technical and emergency gestures, etc.) and have the right attitude in a professional environment.

  • Define your plans for the future, with support on motivation, overcoming obstacles, personality, etc.
  • Guidance and follow-up on enrolment towards the most appropriate scheme.
