The training lasts 6 months and prepares for the exam of the Professional Title of Kitchen assistant (level 3 diploma, equivalent to a CAP ).

Program

Learning basic cooking techniques, HACCP training (kitchen hygiene and safety)
Practical work in cooking and baking
Professional French courses, digital workshops, employment support workshops
1 full-time 3-week company internship.

Participants in the training take a French Knowledge Test for the general public (TCF TP) to assess their level.

A food truck is a vehicle equipped to prepare and sell food.

The practical courses are supplemented by kitchen technology: cooking techniques, nutrition, HACCP module (hygiene and safety in the kitchen)...

Know the professional vocabulary of the cooking profession
Prepare a professional file with teachers

For example, you can talk about your professional and/or voluntary experiences in the field of cooking.

Learn polite phrases and adopt the correct posture when dealing with an employer.

You will learn how to use useful digital tools for your job search. For example, CV writing, cover letters, etc.

You will be supported in your job search and will be able to participate in various workshops. For example, how to succeed in a job interview, where and how to look for a job?

Finally, you will have to do a one-month internship in a restaurant in April. We will accompany you in the search for this internship.

The diploma you obtain at the end of the training is a professional qualification. The tests to obtain it are based on mastery of professional gestures, that is to say the cooking techniques necessary to work as a cook.
