Learning French at university
with DIU Passerelle - DILAMI
What is it?
Do you want to start or resume studies? You can apply for the Diplôme InterUniversitaire Passerelle (DIUP) of the universities of Toulouse.
It is a training in French (level A2 to B2), co-financed by the European Union and the Occitanie Region, which accompanies exiled people in their university and professional project.

Why is it interesting?
Obtain an official diploma
With the Diplôme InterUniversitaire Passerelle (DIUP) DILAMI - level B2, I can enroll in another course in a French higher education establishment and/or I can work.
Get support with my career project
In addition to French as a Foreign Language (FLE) courses, I can benefit from support for my higher education and professional career project.
Study for free
If my application is accepted, my university registration fees will be waived.
In addition, I will have a student status and access to CROUS scholarships available up to the age of 28 for beneficiaries of international protection. If I am older than 28, I can benefit from an exceptional financial aid paid annually up to the age of 35.

How do I get involved?

The application file is available on the DILAMI website.
Once filled in, I send it with my supporting documents to this address: dilami@univ-toulouse.fr between February 27 and March 26, 2023 for the 2023-2024 academic year.
If my application is complete, I receive an invitation to audition in June 2023 with one of the teachers of the training.
After the audition, an e-mail announces my registration or not for the DIUP DILAMI.
Selection criteria
- Be an asylum seeker, a beneficiary of the subsidiary protection, a refugee or have temporary protection
- Be at least 18 years old and have at least a baccalaureate (or equivalent)
- Living in or around Toulouse
- Have a plan to continue or resume higher education
- Be motivated and available to follow the course
Duration and pace of the course
- Total number of hours: 400 hours of classes of French as a foreign language (FLE), from September to June
- Rhythm: 16 hours per week, Monday to Friday
