Where is it?
Take part in a writing and poetry workshop
What is it?
It's a writing workshop for women who want it! It is animated by two authors and musicians, Julie Bonnie and Violaine Schwartz. We sing, we write, we laugh!
Why is it interesting?
Over tea or coffee, women can write and sing, often guided by a theme defined at each session.
It is a convivial moment, where one can practice French, take time for oneself to write and read. It is a moment out of time, a privileged moment.
This is a time when you can write from themes proposed by the authors at each new session:
- Imagine that you are a flower,
- Tell us about Paris at Night,
- You meet someone on a rainy day...
The workshop takes place in French, so it's ideal for practicing French and reading texts and songs in French.
If you don't want to write in French yourself, volunteers will help you!
At the end of the workshop, in June, the texts written throughout the year will be transcribed into a booklet! You will be able to take one home with you, and have a record of your writing.
How to do it?
You can come every Tuesday morning, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the Maison de la Poésie (157 Rue Saint Martin).
Good to know: The workshops begin on September 6. You can come every week, once in a while, just once... it's up to you! There is no attendance requirement.
