Where is it?

Cultivate a shared garden

Updated on il y a 2 ans

What is it?

The CAPS social center has created a shared garden in the Philéas-Lebesgues district in Amiens. Once a week, the team of volunteers gather to take care of the garden.

The garden is always accessible to residents all week long for watering, weeding, bringing green waste for composting, or enjoying the coolness of a garden in the heart of the city.

The products of the garden are harvestable by all when they are ripe.

Good to know: Every two weeks, on Thursday, baskets of vegetables from the Ferme des Hortillonnages (the floating gardens of Amiens) are sold at the social center for €10 (also fresh eggs, honey, fruit juice... )

Why is it interesting?

We meet people from the neighborhood, while helping the community.

You can have fresh vegetables that only cost the time spent in the garden!

You will learn how to take care of a garden (watering, weeding...).

How to do it?

Come and find out at the front-desk of the CAPS social center (104 rue Edmond Rostand in Amiens), by phone at 03.60.12.24.60, or on the website ok-caps.fr
