What is it?

It is suitable support for Beneficiaries of International Protection (BPI) for mental health

The scheme is called SAM INSPIR (= Mental Health and Professional Integration for Refugees).

Why is it interesting?

A specialized psychologist uses the EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) method, recognized and recommended by the WHO and the HAS. It is a short therapy that uses eye movements and is suitable for the treatment of trauma.

EMDR support: possibility to use an interpreter.

EMDR allows you to better sort and organize memories linked to trauma.

These short therapies help you calm down and feel good about your personal and professional projects.

How to do it?

To benefit from this device, you must:

  • Have a Refugee status or Subsidiary Protection
  • Be domiciled in the City of Poitiers or in a municipality of Grand Poitiers
  • Be directed by a social referent

Contact your social worker. He will be able to guide you via the prescription sheet.
