Tuberculosis screening is carried out in two ways depending on the context and the age of the person:
- X-ray of the lungs,
- Intradermal reaction (IDR): injection carried out on the forearm by a nurse. The skin may or may not react locally. The reaction is read 48 to 72 hours after the injection.
