What is it?

Tuberculosis screening is carried out in two ways depending on the context and the age of the person:

- X-ray of the lungs,

- Intradermal reaction (IDR): injection carried out on the forearm by a nurse. The skin may or may not react locally. The reaction is read 48 to 72 hours after the injection.

Why is it interesting?

You will not have to pay for this exam.

You will be received by health professionals subject to medical secrecy.

Tuberculosis is a potentially serious and contagious infectious disease. By undergoing screening, you can reduce the spread of the disease and receive treatment as soon as possible if you are found to be ill.
