Meet a notary
with CDAD 21
What is it?
The notary is a public officer, who intervenes in all areas of law: family, real estate, heritage, companies ...
He is appointed by the Ministry of Justice and acts on behalf of the state. As a legal specialist, the notary drafts "deeds" and contracts (such as a promise to sell an apartment, a marriage contract, etc.) and "authenticates" them. In other words, he gives them legal value.
With the County Council for access to the law (Conseil départemental d'accès au droit or CDAD), you can meet a notary free of charge at offices in Dijon and the region.
