What is it?
The Afpa ( Agency for Adult Professional Training) offers the VAE Primo-Arrivants: it is a Validation of Acquired Experience (VAE) adapted to refugees who have had a professional activity in their country of origin.
Afpa makes a detailed analysis of the candidate's skills and acts as a "trusted third party", as a guarantee, for people who do not have proof of at least one year's experience in the target sector.
It is necessary to be a signatory of the Republican Integration Contract (CIR).
Why is it interesting?
The VAE will allow you to develop your professional experience and the skills acquired before your arrival in France.
Three types of courses are proposed, depending on the professional and linguistic skills of the beneficiary, with the aim of obtaining:
- a professional title;
- a Certificate of Professional Skills (CCP);
- Recognition of professional know-how (RSFP).
The evaluation of acquired experience and the recognition of know-how will be helpful to engage you in a sustainable professional integration.
