Volunteer to provide food aid

Take part in the actions of an association which helps people in difficulty in Bordeaux:

  • French lessons
  • Social and solidarity grocery store
  • Distribution of couscous in winter
  • Marauding (going to see people who live on the street to chat and bring them something).

The Graines de solidarité association makes it very easy to participate in many activities in a good atmosphere, to meet people, to practice French, and to help society.

Why is it interesting?

 You will be able to meet new people and to create social links with volunteers and beneficiaries.

Help people in precarious situations and collaborate with other associations in Bordeaux

You can progress in French during food aid activities by speaking with a lot of people.

Activities can last one or more hours, each week you must indicate which activity you wish to participate in!

Here are the activity schedules:

  • The “Comptoir Solidaire” grocery store: Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • The distribution of “Couscous de l’amitié” between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. during the winter period.
  • The marauding: Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
