FranceConnect is a service that facilitates connection to public websites.

Thanks to FranceConnect, you can use a single account to carry out several administrative procedures online:

For example, you can use your Ameli (Health Insurance) identifiers to connect to the France Travail (Pôle emploi) website.

To use FranceConnect, you must have a permanent social security number in France.

How to do it?

To use FranceConnect, you must create or already have an account on:

If you have more than one of these accounts, you must choose one to log in.
Make sure the account is registered with the same information as on your birth certificate.

  • Go to the site where you need to make a procedure$
  • In your personal space, click on the box "Log in with France Connect"
  • Choose one of your accounts (step 1) and log in with your username and password for that account. You do not need to create a new account on the site.
  • Click on “Login or Log in”.

  • With each connection with FranceConnect, there is:
    - a sentence "You will connect as..." with your name
    - a blue box: “Continue to…” with the name of the site you want to go to.
  • Click on this box to go to your space and complete your procedure online.

What happens next?

For security reasons, you will receive an email with a connection alert each time you use FranceConnect:

  • on a new mobile phone or on a new internet browser
  • if you have not used the service for 3 months.
If you have shared your login details and passwords with a family member, your social worker, or someone who helps you with administrative procedures, you will receive a connection alert if he or she logs in. Check with this person to make sure the connection is normal.

If you believe you are a victim of identity theft (someone has stolen your credentials to log in as you), complete this online form immediately.

Generally speaking, never give personal information (name, first name, social security number, credit card number, etc.) to a person or company you do not know who contacts you by phone, text message, or email.

FranceConnect + is a more secure version of FranceConnect, which allows you to carry out more sensitive and complex procedures: opening a bank account, paying for training with the CPF, accessing your medical file, receiving electronic registered letters, etc.

To use FranceConnect+, you must create an account on La Poste Digital Identity and verify your identity.
