What is it?
Online workshops to help parents:
- understand and monitor their children's schooling (school system, communication with teachers, etc.)
- use computers, smartphones and the Internet (social networks, security, screen time, etc.)
- complete administrative procedures online (CAF, Doctolib, etc.).
These workshops are reserved for parents who live in working-class neighborhoods or priority neighbourhood for urban policies of the 10th, 11th and 19th arrondissements of Paris. You will need to bring proof of address with you on the day of registration.
Why is it interesting?
Workshops can be organised in your native language: English, Bengali, Chinese, Korean, Hindi, Kazakh, Urdu, Uzbek, Pashto, Persian, Russian, Ukrainian, Tibetan, Turkish…
- Knowledge of your rights (financial assistance, health, etc.)
- Computer skills to be able to send documents by email, apply for RSA or family allowances on the Internet.
- Sharing experiences with other parents to ask questions.
- Understand how to use the school platform with homework and class information
- Find resources for the young on the Internet (videos to improve your French, etc.)
- Parental control and screen time management.
