Preparation for careers in construction and public works

With Les bâtisseuses en action program

A two-week programme to help you find and validate your professional project in construction and public works thanks to:

  • a discovery of construction site and possible trades
  • French courses for professional, technical and specific vocabulary
  • a presentation of the trades sought by companies
  • advice for finding a job or a training
  • individual and collective support

To enrol for this program, you must: - be a woman
- be interested in the construction and public works sector - be a beneficiary of international protection - be registered at France Travail or be a beneficiary of RSA ( a French tax credits for the poorest people) in Seine-Saint-Denis
- have at least an A2 French level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL)
- live or have an address in 93.

Why is it interesting?

  • Learn construction vocabulary and find their way around in space
  • Understand safety rules and instructions
  • Communicate with colleagues and site supervisors so as to be autonomous.

  • Drawing up and updating a CV
  • Know which websites to use to look for a job or training course
  • Know the different contracts (fixed-term, permanent, temporary, etc.) and employment law for an employee.

  • Support and advice during and after the training to help you find a job or training course quickly
  • Tailor the course to your needs
  • Putting you in touch with other organisations to help you with your administrative formalities: driving licence, housing application, registering for training, registering with France Travail, opening a bank account, etc.

  • Meet companies
  • Discover joinery by building an object
  • Meet training organisations
  • Visit schools' technical centres
Technical platforms are training places for developing, in real conditions, new skills or improving savoir-faire in a specific sector (construction, industry, security, etc.).

How to do it?

  1. Send a message to 07 52 08 26 01 with your name, first name and address (home and mail), with a sentence to say that you are interested in the training "Les Bâtisseuses en action".
  2. The “We are all builders” training center will give you an appointment for an information meeting.
  3. Then, you will have an interview.
Please note that we can ONLY accept women who live or have an address in the 93 department.
