Where is it?
Learn French to be independent
What is it?
French classes in small groups to improve your oral and written level.
The goal is to become independent in daily life and be able to:
- communicate
- understand and carry out administrative procedures (papers)
- know the laws, rights, duties
- get treatment, go to a doctor
- move
- visit the city
- have hobbies, do activities to relax
- find a job, find a training course
- understand children's schooling
- apply for French nationality.
Each week, several 2-hour classes are organized, depending on the level.
Why is it interesting?
- To better understand and communicate orally.
- To progress in reading and writing.
- To introduce yourself
- To chat with someone
- To make an appointment
- To pay for purchases
- To understand documents (forms, invoices, school documents, magazines, information leaflets, city map, bus timetables, etc.)
- To carry out administrative procedures...
There are also educational outings and role-playing games to make learning easier.
Classes are held in one of the association's rooms.
Teachers can also suggest outings and visits to important places, like:
- City hall
- Social center
- Museum
- House of Solidarity
- CAF (Benefits office)
- France Travail (Job centre)
- CPAM (Public health insurance body)
During French classes, you will meet other people of all nationalities .
