Training to become a florist assistant

Updated on il y a 8 mois

What is it?

Our training course is aimed at women or people from gender minorities and is designed to lead to the Certificate of Professional Qualification (CQP) Florist Assistant.

It includes theory (botany, sustainable flowers, the florist's trade) and practical courses (flower arrangement, group workshops). It also provides professional support (CV preparation, portfolio development, interview preparation).

Sessions of 3 weeks of classes followed by 1 week of work experience are spread throughout the course. The course ends with a 3-week work placement and a 1-week examination

Why is it interesting?

At the end of the training, you will be able to easily recognize many plants, know how to prepare and compose bouquets of flowers, accompany a customer, etc.

You will be accompanied during and after the training for your professional integration, and in particular for your job search.

Training takes place in small groups. This creates a caring space where you can regain confidence in your talents while developing new skills.

How to do it?

To join the training, you must:

  • Face professional reintegration issues
  • Be followed by a social worker
  • Be a jobseeker registered with Pôle Emploi
  • Be in relatively good physical condition: the job of florist is mainly done standing up and involves carrying sometimes heavy loads (vases and buckets of water).
